On Wednesday, 15 November 2023, at 12:00 p.m., a panel discussion on the topic “Murals and graffiti – wall painting or resistance to norms” will be organised in the Ministry of Culture and Sports at the address Obala Maka Dizdara 2 as part of the “European Heritage Days 2023” programme by the Citizens’ Association “Obojena Klapa”, with the support of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Institute for the Protection of Monuments.

The topic of the panel discussion is murals and graffiti: concepts and definitions, impacts on cultural-historical heritage, existing legal regulations for approvals and expert opinions for murals or punishment measures for writing graffiti. Actions and measures that include education, prevention and punishment measures will be discussed. The goal of the panel discussion is to define the specific activities of institutions, organisations and citizens in order to preserve the heritage of the city in which there would be space for murals and even graffiti.
