Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević opened last weekend in Mostar the National Fair of Original Folklore of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized by the Association of Croatian Amateur Cultural and Artistic Societies in BiH and Croatian Cultural Community in FBiH.
This year’s Fair was organized as a part of the international programme of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO Convention on Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Minister Vlaisavljević welcome the participants who gathered from eighteen different places and stressed in her address the importance of safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage.
The Fair presented the most quality cultural and artistic societies that have been cultivating the traditional cultural heritage of Croats in the richness of their original costumes, dances, musical instruments, songs and customs.
