I would like to congratulate you on the occasion of World Romani Language Day. This is an opportunity to proudly highlight the richness and value of the Romani language as an indispensable part of the cultural and linguistic diversity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe. Language is the basis of the identity of every people, and its preservation and promotion contributes to mutual understanding, respect and unity in our society.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports recognizes and supports the efforts of the Roma community, cultural associations and all individuals who, through their activities, preserve and promote the Romani language, tradition and cultural heritage.

I would like to sincerely congratulate the “Romalen” Association and all members of the Roma community on the occasion of the celebration of World Romani Language Day, with the wish for a successful and inspired program and further raising awareness of the importance of linguistic and cultural diversity.
