At the initiative of gymnastics clubs from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a working meeting was held at the premises of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports with the aim of considering and attempting to resolve problems related to the participation of young gymnasts in international competitions.

Representatives of gymnastics clubs expressed concern about the obstacles that the Gymnastics Association of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which did not respond to the invitation to the meeting, placed on individual clubs in enabling child gymnasts to represent their country on the international stage. It was emphasized that such restrictions were contrary to the basic principles of sport, and that they directly affected the development of gymnastics and the motivation of young people.

Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, expressed her readiness to cooperate and encouraged gymnastics clubs to work as a team to find solutions that would be in the best interest of children and the development of gymnastics in the Federation of BiH.

The Ministry remains committed to supporting young athletes and ensuring transparent and fair conditions for their competition at all levels.
