On the occasion of the Day of the City of Stolac and the patron saint of the Parish of St. Elijah the Prophet, the City Sports Hall opened its doors. The Mayor of Stolac, Stjepan Bošković, emphasized the importance of this project for the community and thanked all the institutions that helped in the implementation of the project. The programme continued with a handball exhibition match between the Town of Stolac team, which consisted of big names from the Croatian handball national team, and the current champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina, RK Izviđač Ljubuški.
The ceremony was attended by officials from all levels of government, guests and friends of the Town of Stolac.
