The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, visited the RK Izviđač, a club with a long and rich tradition, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federal Minister of Finance, Toni Kraljević.
The meeting was hosted by Nenad Zovak, manager of the Club’s men’s team, and Nikica Šiljeg, the Club’s chronicler, journalist and publicist.
The RK Izviđač players also joined the constructive conversation: Ivano Pavlović, Croatian national team member, Matej Šimić, Todor Milisavljević and Milan Dedić. The players and Mr. Zovak presented the Club’s work, successes and daily activities.
The Club’s chronicler, Nikica Šiljeg, presented to the Minister the book titled The Handball Story of Ljubuški, which after five years of patient collection of material was presented for the first time on 3 May 2024.
At the very end of the meeting, Minister Vlaisavljević congratulated the Club on its success and emphasized the need to preserve the sports heritage of the City of Ljubuški.
