The ceremony of presenting certificates to youth officers for successfully completed the basic training organised last year was held today in organisation of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Institute for Youth Development “KULT”.

At the event “Change is happening!”, an interview was held with the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević. When asked how much we cared and how we would care for the young people in 2025, the Minister pointed out to a particularly important topic – the FBiH Youth Strategy: “It was not me who invented the story about the Strategy. Special mention has to be made of my closest associate, Mr. Adis Salkić. We made an action plan and immediately went into action. The Strategy is now waiting to be adopted by the Federal Government, then it will be presented to the Parliament for adoption and then the change will happen! I also have to mention a great team of the “Kult” Institute, with who we had an extraordinary collaboration. It is also important to mention that the Youth Transfer budget for this year was significantly increased, and that is already the first big step to support young people,” the Minister pointed out.

At the end of the interview, Minister Vlaisavljević advised the young people to build their own paths and goals, and not to allow anyone to manipulate them: “Don’t let them make you promises! You have to ask for responses because only promises will make no change. Work hard, learn, outdo yourself to achieve your goals. Our Ministry, at least while I am in office, will do everything to put the wind at your back. You can change a lot, and we are here to help,” Minister Vlaisavljević said.

Jasmin Bešić, Director General of the Institute for Youth Development “KULT” thanked Minister Vlaisavljević and the entire team of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for their responsiveness, openness to numerous topics and for having created conditions for positive changes during the so-far successful cooperation.

The five-module basic training was completed by representatives of different local communities from BiH with the aim of improving skills in working with young people.

At the end of the interview, minister Vlaisavljević presented certificates to youth officers who will build bridges between young people and institutions.
