Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević met today at the Ministry with the most awarded BiH film director, Jasmila Žbanić, after the return of the crew of the series “I Know How You Breathe” from the Venice Film Festival.
Director Žbanić conveyed to the Minister her impressions after the world premiere of this BiH series that was a part of the main program of the jubilee 80th Film Festival in Venice and spoke about the process of creating the series, which the local audience will also have the opportunity to watch from October.
Namely, this is the first time that a TV series from this region has had its world premiere as a part of the Venice Film Festival, and the success of the BiH team is best illustrated by the fact that “I know how you breathe” is one of two series from around the world shown at this prestigious film festival.
Minister Vlaisavljević and director Žbanić also discussed future cooperation, and noted that dialogue and compromise were necessary to connect all film workers and associations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the only way to make progress in audio-visual art.
Minister Vlasaivljević once again congratulated the entire team of the series “I know how you breathe” and wished success in future projects.
