The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, congratulated to the Director of the Festival, Jovan Marjanović, and his team on the opening of the Sarajevo Film Festival:

“Dear Mr. Marjanović, I am hereby sending my most sincere congratulations on another Festival of art, dialogue, diversity, inter-culturality and appreciation of the most diverse values.

These are the days we all have been looking forward to all year long, because during the Festival the city and the whole country live in a completely different atmosphere.

I congratulate also to your hard-working team for their perseverance and for selecting the best programme. Every year one claims the Festival programme can’t be better than that, but you actually push the boundaries every following year”, Minister Vlaisavljević said in her congratulatory message.

The Sarajevo Film Festival will be held from 11 to 18 August 2023.
