Karate players from Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved the highest results at the European Championship in Poland

The European Championship for cadets, juniors and U21 organized in Poland, in which about 1200 competitors from 49 countries participated, has ended.

Karate players from Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved the highest results and brought home the following medals:

– Kenan Šiljak, silver medal (U21 -60 kg wrestling),

– Daris Džafo, silver medal (cadet wrestling -57 kg),

– Emina Sipović, bronze medal (fights U21 -61 kg),

– Ali Arnautović, bronze medal (junior wrestling -68 kg),

– Hena Mehanija, bronze medal (junior women’s wrestling -59 kg),

– Nejra Zukić, bronze medal (junior women’s wrestling -48 kg),

– Zolota Ismail, bronze medal (fights U21 -75 kg),

– Ismail Đidić, bronze medal (junior wrestling -55 kg).

Notable results were also achieved by Bekir Grabus, Šejla Aščić and Edin Suljević.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports sends warmest congratulations on the medals and significant results to the entire team, competitors, selectors, coaches and clubs.
