The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sarajevo sent a notice that the 44th International Fadjr Theater Festival would be held from 21 January to 1 February 2026 in Tehran.

The Festival is organized by the Performing Arts Center of Iran (DAC) in cooperation with the ITI Center Iran, and will gather theater troupes, artists and experts from all over the world. The festival programme includes:

• stage and street performances,
• workshops and master classes,
• seminars and webinars,
• participation of theater directors, producers and curators.

The Festival will be of a competitive nature and will take place in a hybrid format – live and online.
