The Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina has submitted to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports the invitation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the application of participants for the JICA Knowledge Co-creation Program for Long-Term Participants (JICA Development Studies Programme), on the topic of “Agricultural Studies Network for Food Security (Agri-net)” JFY2026, in duration of two years for a master’s degree or three years for a doctoral degree, depending on the programmes offered by the universities.
Candidates should submit the following application documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will forward the documentation to the JICA Office in Sarajevo (deadline: November 17, 2025):
1. Letter or verbal note from the Government,
2. Application form for Agri-net Programme FY 2026,
3. Diploma of completed education,
4. Transcript of grades,
5. Copy of passport,
6. Copy of English language proficiency certificate,
7. 2 photographs (attached to the application form, size 4×3, one original and one copy),
8. Medical certificate (to be submitted later).
This programme is intended for young and mid-career civil servants, promising academic workers or employees of private institutions who are expected to contribute to the formulation or implementation of policies to address sustainable development issues in the respective fields.
All applicants should meet the requirements (such as current position, educational and work background, age, English language skills, etc.) as stated in the information leaflet.
