Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, met today in the Ministry with Toni Marić, a member of the Organisational Committee of the Third International Conference titled “Digitization, Archiving, Preservation and Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage”.

Marić informed Minister Vlaisavljević about the Conference programme, which is based on the recommendations of the UNESCO Convention on the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage from 2023. Furthermore, he pointed out to the main aim of the Conference and that is: to exchange experiences, and new ideas and to secure access to the intangible heritage in such a way as to increase its visibility to the interested audience and to raise the interest of the young generations.

The Conference will be organized in Široki Brijeg, on 19-20 October 2023. The Minister has confirmed the participation in the opening ceremony of the Conference.
