On 7 September 2026, a working meeting was held to address ongoing issues regarding the restoration and conservation works on the “Provincial Government Building II” and the further implementation of activities on the northern and western facades.

During the meeting, it was noted that painting work on the northern facade had been completed, followed by the dismantling of the scaffolding from that facade. The executed works were inspected and found to have been carried out in accordance with previously agreed-upon conservation guidelines and professional standards.

An entrance portal leading to the passageway was installed on the northern facade, thereby completing one of the planned elements of the facade’s final finish.

The meeting also addressed the restoration of the original balustraded railings on the western facade, which had previously been walled up. Discussions regarding potential execution and restoration methods took place; it was agreed that the restoration contractor would submit a proposal for the work, after which the Institute for the Protection of Monuments would provide a final opinion on the proposed execution method. The meeting also addressed the schedule for the ongoing work on the western façade; plans are in place to begin dismantling the scaffolding from the third floor of the western façade this week, following the completion of the scheduled work on that section of the building.

It was noted that the restoration and conservation work is progressing according to plan and proceeding without significant difficulties, in compliance with project documentation, conservation guidelines, and professional standards.
