According to a previous agreement with the construction stakeholders, employees of the Institute for the Monuments’ Protection took advantage of the beautiful and relatively warm weather on 25 February 2025 to complete the grouting of the upper part of the walls of the Muslim Tomb in Prača and installed stainless steel anchors, thus successfully completing the first and most important phase of the structural rehabilitation.
In addition to the representatives of the Institute, Dženana Šaran and Azer Aličić as expert supervisors, the works were also attended by the supervisory authority Mirsad Sendo from the company “Sendo” d.o.o. and the chief engineer according to whose calculations and instructions the structural rehabilitation was carried out, and Mustafa Humo and Edin Kurić on behalf of the contractor.
It is planned to renovate the exterior woodwork with stone decorated door frames, the shutters on the upper windows and the entrance door with a stone door frame.
We hope for the successful realisation of this phase of the works, with additional financial assistance of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
