Josip Pejaković, a great figure of BiH acting, writer and artist, has unfortunately passed away.

“A man who carried Bosnia within himself and loved and protected it with all his heart has passed away” is the essence of most of the farewell messages sent on the occasion of Pejaković’s eternal departure in recent days.

With deep regret, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends and audience of the doyen of BiH acting, but also a tireless and courageous fighter for truth and justice.

Pejaković, always ready to encourage, criticize and love everything that surrounded him. From harsh words from politicians, those who did not love his Bosnia and Herzegovina enough to advice to young artists.

His roles, his life of acting was not just a job but a life that he lived with all his heart.

There are few people who were as versatile as Josip, the “citizen of the world.”
