Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, and Assistant Minister for Youth, Adis Salkić, met today in the Ministry with the representatives of the FBiH Youth Council – the Council Chairwoman, Asja Dizdarević, member of the Council Management Board, Iman Maslić and Council Coordinator, Irma Rešidović.

The reason for the meeting was to sign the Agreement on Financing the Programme Activities of the FBiH Youth Council in 2023 in the amount of KM 30,000, as determined by the Decision on Adoption of the Spending Programme with the Criteria for the Distribution of Current Transfers Determined by the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2023 to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The representatives of the FBiH Youth Council informed the Minister about the current activities and projects they were implementing, as well as about the position, needs and problems faced on a daily basis by the young people in all local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and about the possible ways of improving their unenviable position.

Minister Vlaisavljević pointed out that the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports would intensify cooperation with the FBiH Youth Council in the future, primarily through the creation of the FBiH Youth Strategy, which would be a framework document that would help everyone to finally start solving the youth issues.
