The President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Lidija Bradara and the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports Sanja Vlaisavljević received the coach of the BiH U16 waterpolo team, Kristijan Njavra, and three young BiH national team players from Neum, Dominik Grbešić, Ivo Jurković, and Josip Bačić, at the office of the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Mostar – on the occasion of the recent historic success at the European U16 Championship in Ljubljana, where BiH won the bronze medal.

In a conversation with the athletes, the Minister and the President extended sincere congratulations to the young athletes and their coach, emphasizing that the young people were the pride of their region and country.

Minister Vlaisavljević used the opportunity to remind that the Federation of BiH had already helped the Waterpolo Federation of BiH and emphasized its readiness to continue cooperation and support, especially in the area related to work with youth and infrastructure challenges.

In conclusion, the President and the Minister expressed their readiness to seek sustainable solutions for the development of water and other sports in BiH in cooperation with other levels of government and the Sports Foundation, with the aim of ensuring appropriate conditions for the development of those sports.
