The Catholic School Centre of Zenica celebrated the School Day on 25 January, the Day of St. Paul’s address, after whom the school was named. On this occasion, a Holy Mass was held in the St. Elias Church led by the archbishop of Vrhbosna, Msgr. Tomo Vukšić. In addition to the Archbishop, 18 priests concelebrated, including the Principal of the School, Rev. Vlatko Rosic.
The Holy Mass was followed by a musical and theatre performance in the school premises, in which the students took part under the mentorship and guidance of their teachers.
This was also an occasion to say farewell to two employees going to a well-deserved retirement. Msgr. Tomo presented them with appropriate gifts, after which the performance was closed with the cheerleaders.
The celebration was attended by representatives of different religious communities, other schools and the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports (Emilija Pavićević, Advisor to the Minister and Marko Francešević, Expert Associate for Culture).
