A meeting was held in the Seminary Church of St. Cyril and Methodius in Sarajevo with the Archbishop of Vrhbosnia, Metropolitan Monsignor Tomo Vukšić, regarding the extensive renovation work. The dynamics and progress of the work so far and the continuation of the work were discussed.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the company Koto, which is carrying out the work, as well as experts from the Supervisory Board from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Sarajevo.

Archbishop Vukšić and the rector of the Vrhbosnia Theological Seminary, Rev. Ivan Rako, thanked all those involved for their dedicated work, and the archbishop emphasized that this church was not only a liturgical center but also a precious part of Sarajevo’s cultural heritage.

In conclusion, it was agreed that the Institute for the Protection of Monuments, as it had already been doing, would supervise the implementation of the project and take care of the cultural and historical heritage, and provide expert assistance to all projects within its jurisdiction.
