It was with great pleasure that I received your invitation to the opening of the exhibition “The Imprint of Urbanization: Florenzo Cordignano,” organized by the “Rino Zandonai” Association of Citizens of Italian Origin in Tuzla, which will take place on 10 August 2026, at the Youth Center of the Tuzla Cultural Center.

I extend my sincere congratulations on the organization of this valuable exhibition, which makes a distinctive contribution to the preservation and promotion of the cultural and historical heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while shedding light on the exceptional contribution of architect Florenzo Cordignano to the urban development of our communities. The project derives special value from the presentation of previously unknown structures from his body of work, thereby offering both the professional community and the general public new insights into architectural heritage and its importance for understanding the historical development of our cities.

I believe that this exhibition will encourage further research, contribute to a better appreciation of Florenzo Cordignano’s architectural legacy, and further strengthen awareness regarding the importance of preserving cultural heritage as an enduring value and shared legacy; I also trust that it will be well-attended and garner well-deserved recognition from both the professional community and the general public.
