I am particularly pleased to congratulate the Sarajevo Media Center, the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory from Belgrade and the Association for the Promotion of Jewish Culture, Tradition and Tourist Potentials “HAGADA” on the occasion of the successful implementation of the project “Revival of Jewish Culture in the Western Balkans”, realized with the support of UNESCO.

This significant project represents a valuable contribution to the preservation, research and modern reinterpretation of Jewish cultural heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I especially emphasize the digitization and online availability of the magazine “Jevrejski glas” from the period 1928-1941. year, a valuable source for studying the history and life of the Jewish community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The value of the project is additionally confirmed by the inclusion of young artists and their creative works, which present and reinterpret cultural heritage in a modern way, bringing it closer to new generations.

I sincerely congratulate you on the achieved result, with the conviction that this project will make a valuable contribution to the preservation of cultural memory, the nurturing of cultural diversity and the further affirmation of Jewish heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
