The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports extends its sincere congratulations to the Bosnian and Herzegovinian paraathlete Željka Šandrk on her exceptional performance at the international WPA meeting “Serbia Open” held in Kruševac, where she achieved top results and once again represented Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international sports scene.

The gold medal won in the shot put along with a new state record for Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the bronze medal in the javelin throw, are confirmation of the dedicated work, discipline and sports quality, with which Željka Šandrk is continuously pushing the boundaries of BiH paraathletics.

The fact that the achieved results represent an important step in the continuation of a successful sports season and additional confirmation that Bosnia and Herzegovina has athletes capable of top achievements at the largest international competitions is particularly pleasing.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports expresses its support for the further work and development of Paralympic sports and wishes Željka Šandrk much success in the upcoming international performances and future sports challenges.
