The NationalAthletics Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved outstanding results at the Balkan Junior Championship held in Sofia last weekend.

Emina Omanović, a member of the Sarajevo Athletics Club, won a bronze medal in the long jump, and the BiH national team set five new state records as follows: Ema Mešković, Ena Bećirović, Ema Kovač and Džana Suljić (women’s junior relay 4×400 m – senior, junior and jounger junior record) and Amina Lillian Cifrić (discipline: pole, 5th place, senior and junior record).

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports conveys warmest congratulations to all competitors and their coaches on the success achieved in the competition of 264 participants from 18 countries.
