On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports and on my own behalf, I send sincere congratulations on the occasion of the official opening of the European Club Taekwondo 2026 Olympic Taekwondo Championship.

The organization and maintenance of such an important sports event represents an important contribution to the development and promotion of sports, sports values ​​and international cooperation. The European Club Championship gathers top athletes and sports teams and confirms the importance of Olympic taekwondo as a discipline that promotes discipline, responsibility, mutual respect and sportsmanship.

I especially want to emphasize the importance of the work of sports associations, clubs, coaches and all sports workers who contribute to the development of sports and the affirmation of young athletes with their dedicated engagement.
