It is with particular pleasure that I express my sincere gratitude for the invitation and offer my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the forum “The Life and Work of Gabrijel Jurkić” and the opening of the exhibition “Artist – Line – Consecration: The Gabrijel Jurkić Drawing Collection.”

This valuable cultural event represents a significant contribution to the preservation and promotion of the artistic legacy of Gabrijel Jurkić, one of the most prominent painters in the history of art in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through the forum dedicated to his life and creative output, as well as the exhibition of drawings that bear witness to the breadth of his talent and artistic sensitivity, the public is offered an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the work of an artist who left an indelible mark on our cultural heritage.

It is especially valuable that such programs contribute to the preservation of cultural memory and foster interest in artistic heritage among new generations, affirming the enduring importance of art in shaping cultural identity.
