I thank you for the invitation to the program of celebrating the City Day of Široki Brijeg, which will be held on 13 August 2026.

I would like you to celebrate City Day in a dignified and solemn manner, in a spirit of unity and pride, which is celebrated on the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a feast of deep spiritual significance. This special date further emphasizes the strength of tradition, faith and unity that unite all citizens of Široki Brijeg.

I extend my most sincere congratulations to you, all members of the City Council, as well as to all citizens of Široki Brijeg on the occasion of City Day. I would especially like to highlight my congratulations on the opening of the renovated cinema, a valuable cultural space that will certainly further enrich the social and cultural life of the city and provide new opportunities for gathering, creativity and shared experiences.

Confident that you will continue to lead the City with an equally successful vision and commitment, and that Široki Brijeg will continue its path of development, progress, and strengthening of unity,
