Dear organizers,

I send my sincere congratulations on the occasion of the professional meeting of the Association of Librarians of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina entitled “Digital Transformations and Library Practice”, as well as the annual assembly of the Association of Librarians of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the time of accelerated technological development, libraries and the librarian profession are facing challenges, but also exceptional opportunities for redefining their role in society. The topic of this meeting is extremely topical because it opens up space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences on the application of digital tools, the preservation of cultural heritage and the improvement of information availability to all citizens.

Your continuous work and dedication to the development of librarianship contribute to strengthening the educational and cultural system, as well as building a knowledge society based on openness, inclusiveness and availability of information. The annual assembly of the Society is an additional opportunity for strengthening the professional community and defining future guidelines.
