The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports extends sincere congratulations to the national boxing team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all participants of the 32nd International Boxing Tournament “Hakija Turajlić,” held in Sarajevo.

This traditional tournament, the oldest and most decorated in Olympic boxing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, once again confirmed its status as the most significant boxing event in the region. With the participation of boxers from 13 countries and more than 120 competitors, the tournament broke previous records in both the number of participants and the quality of matches.

Bosnia and Herzegovina can be proud of its representatives, who won a total of six medals – three silver and three bronze – while Zinedin Kadrić, a member of the “Željezničar” Boxing Club, achieved an outstanding success by winning the gold medal, further honoring our country.

The best boxer of the tournament was declared Matija Roganović from Montenegro, the best technician was Moussa Ratma from Qatar, while the most combative pair was awarded to Wilmer Ekblom Olsson (Sweden) and Ivan Harald Barlek (Croatia).

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports congratulates all participants, organizers, and especially our Bosnian-Herzegovinian boxers on their exceptional sporting success and contribution to the promotion of boxing and the sporting spirit of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
