On Tuesday, 11 November 2025, a gala concert was held in the City Hall of Sarajevo to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of one of the greatest Austrian composers, Johann Strauss, organised by the Austrian Cultural Forum Sarajevo. For this occasion, the renowned Viennese string ensemble Auner Quartet prepared a special programme dedicated to the work of the ” King of Waltz “.

In the magnificent atmosphere of the City Hall, the audience enjoyed the music that marked European cultural heritage, and the evening continued with socializing at the reception.

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the concert was attended by Anita Vlašić, Head of the Minister’s Office.
