Celebrating the Europe Day with culture and art

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports organized a program on the occasion of Europe Day, which is celebrated on May 9th every year and symbolizes peace, unity and the values ​​on which modern Europe is based.

The event brought together lovers of music and beautiful words, and through a rich program, the importance of culture and art as a universal language that connects people and opens up a space for mutual understanding and cooperation was emphasized.

The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of European values ​​in modern society, especially in the context of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a place where different cultures, traditions and identities meet.

The artistic part of the program enriched the celebration of Europe Day. The audience had the opportunity to enjoy the musical interpretations of Lidija Čović, a member of the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, whose performance brought a special atmosphere of elegance and emotion. The program was completed by actor Davor Sabo, a member of the SARTR ensemble, with a performance of a stage segment entitled “For the Whole Life”, in which he artistically brought closer the importance of culture and everyday human values.

The celebration of Europe Day took place in an atmosphere of dialogue, art and togetherness, confirming that culture plays an important role in building a society based on mutual respect, openness and connecting people.

With this program, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports confirmed its commitment to promoting European values ​​through support for cultural and artistic content.
