Consultations were held at the headquarters of the United Nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the development of the United Nations Cooperation Framework for Sustainable Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2026-2030. Hanadin Basarić attended the meeting on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The UN Resident Coordinator, Ingrid McDonald, together with her colleagues, presented an introductory overview of the consultations, looking back on the results and experiences from the previous framework of cooperation. Also, a draft of the strategic priorities and goals of the future Cooperation Framework were presented, which will focus on three key priorities:
Inclusive and green growth
Development of human capital
Responsible institutions and social cohesion.
During the consultations, the participants had an opportunity to make comments, ask questions and participate in the discussion, in order to jointly contribute to the finalisation of the strategic document. At the end of the meeting, the next steps in the process of harmonising and finalising the Cooperation Framework were defined.
The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports continues to actively participate in this process, contributing to the development of sustainable and inclusive policies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
