The Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina submitted to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports information on the call for applications from the European Steering Committee for Youth (CDEJ) for activities to be held in cooperation with the European Youth Centres in the 1st semester of 2026 within the Youth for Democracy programme.
These activities mainly concern study sessions and “special projects”. The work programme for 2026 will be implemented according to the expected results to be decided by the Joint Youth Council for the two-year period 2024-2027. Proposals for activities in the following areas are required:
1. Revitalisation of pluralistic democracy,
2. Access to young people’s rights,
3. Living together in peaceful and inclusive societies,
4. Youth work.
More details on specific issues under each priority can be found in the work priorities for the period 2022-2025 at the following link: https://www.coe.int/en/web/youth/priorities.
Study sessions for the Council of Europe represent an important way of connecting young people with the Youth for Democracy Programme and a concrete means of supporting youth organisations and networks, in particular by covering the costs of activities and providing educational support.
The deadline for applications for the study sessions for the first semester of 2026 is 15 April 2025. Applications should be submitted to: eyc.studysessions@coe.int.
