Call for applications for Intercultural Achievement Awards 2026


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria has announced a call for applications for successful civil society projects that promote intercultural and interreligious dialogue, as part of the prestigious Intercultural Achievement Awards 2026.

The goal of this award is to recognize and support initiatives that contribute to strengthening mutual understanding, tolerance and cooperation among different cultures and religions, and that promote peace, inclusion and social cohesion through their actions.

The award is given in several categories, and non-governmental organizations, associations, foundations, educational institutions, religious institutions and organizations from the private sector are eligible to apply.

The call is open to projects that have already been implemented or are in the implementation phase, and that have a measurable positive social impact in the field of intercultural and interreligious dialogue.

The deadline for submitting applications is March 31, 2026.

We invite all interested organizations to use this opportunity for the international promotion of their activities and contribution to the development of an open and tolerant society.
