Within the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funds, Hanadin Basarić, Youth Associations Officer at the Youth Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, carried out a field visit to the Association for the Promotion of Urban Culture in the Herzegovina–Neretva Canton on 2 December 2025.

The purpose of the visit was to review documentation and activities related to the implementation of the project “Volunteering for a Better Position of Youth 2025”, which the Ministry supported with 8,500.00 KM. During the meeting with the authorized representative and project manager, the Ministry’s representative was presented with the project’s goals and activities aimed at improving the position of young people in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and strengthening youth activism through a structured volunteer program.

The project enabled young people to gain practical experience, develop new skills, and actively contribute to the implementation of complex organizational tasks. The activities were carried out through several key steps:

– A public call for youth participation was announced. – A selection of 13 volunteers was completed. – Volunteers underwent preparatory training and knowledge transfer to equip them for their tasks. – The volunteer program was fully implemented, with participants demonstrating a high level of motivation and responsibility. – Upon completion of their engagement, a program evaluation was conducted to measure impact and document the experiences of young participants.

The program represents a successful example of meaningful youth engagement and their contribution to the community.

A review of the financial documentation confirmed that all project activities are being successfully implemented, in accordance with the planned timeline and approved funds.
