On 9 September 2026, Tidža Mekić, Head of the Department for Publishing, Library, Visual Arts, Music, and Performing Arts at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the Vitez Main Branch of HKD Napredak as part of the Ministry’s action plan for visiting project beneficiaries. The visit aimed to review documentation regarding the implementation of the project titled “Recapitulation of HKD Napredak’s 120-Year Literary and Publishing Tradition as a Basis for Extrapolating Future Best Practices – Literary Event: The Path of Self-Awareness in the Infinity of the Universe,” which is being implemented from 17 March to 1 December 2026.

The project is structured in three phases: the first phase involves a recitation contest aimed at fostering interest among young people in literature, poetry, and the public performance of literary texts; the second phase entails organizing a literary evening designed to showcase literary work and bring together authors, writers, and lovers of the written word; and the third—and final—phase involves printing a monograph that will consolidate and document the project’s results alongside a portion of HKD Napredak’s literary and publishing tradition.

During the field visit, the available documentation regarding project implementation was reviewed, as were the activities carried out within the specific project phases. An assessment has confirmed that the project is proceeding according to the planned schedule. Project activities are being carried out in accordance with the established plan, and activities preceding the project’s completion are currently underway, including the preparation and execution of the final phase involving the printing of the monograph.
Upon completion of the project, the grant recipient is required to submit a comprehensive report on project implementation and the expenditure of allocated funds within the designated timeframe.
