The official opening of the “515th Days of Ajvatovica” was held in Prusac on Friday, 13 June 13, 2025.

The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, was unable to attend the event in person and was represented at the ceremony by her envoy, Anita Vlašić, Advisor to the Minister, who conveyed warm greetings to the gathering on behalf of the Minister and read her address. In her speech, the Minister emphasized the importance of preserving tradition, cultural heritage and mutual respect that “Ajvatovica” has nurtured for more than five centuries.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports continues to provide strong support to events that connect tradition and modernity, local and universal, that promote dialogue and develop cultural tourism, and enrich the cultural space of Bosnia and Herzegovina and contribute to strengthening identity, dialogue and coexistence.
