Sanja Arnautović, Expert Advisor for Institutions and Associations of Culture, attended on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports the opening ceremony of the 15th Youth Film Festival (OFF), which took place on 18 July 2023 in the Youth Theatre in Sarajevo.
In four days of the Festival, 59 films from 14 countries will be shown in the Open Air cinemas Gimnazijska, Vils Summer Screen and Ilidža Open Air. The Festival programme will also include a number of events, concerts and shows on the Theatre Square in Sarajevo, including daily OFF Talks Programme – conversations with special guests of the Festival, authors and film protagonists.
OFF is currently one of the largest festivals of short and youth films in Southeast Europe, which actively participates in the production, distribution and promotion of films in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe. This year’s OFF will show a large number of feature films in the official competitive selection, two of which are Oscar candidates.
