The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in sitting volleyball defended the title of the European champion and reached a total of 11 continental championship titles.

On this occasion, Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević sent on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports congratulations to our volleyball players: “Our golden boys, sincere congratulations for another gold in a row that you are bringing to Bosnia and Herzegovina. We got used to your successes, but only you know how much effort, work and sacrifice was necessary for all the glittering awards you have adorned yourself with so far. We are proud of you and we are so thankful to you for everything!”

The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina celebrated in the grand finals of the European Championship in Italy against Germany with 3-2 in sets. With this triumph, the golden volleyball players secured a direct placement at the Paralympic Games next year in Paris.

In addition to 11 gold medals, Bosnia and Herzegovina won two bronze medals and one silver.
