On Saturday, 15 November 2025, the Široki Brijeg Public Library hosted a literary matinee titled “Women – Writers for Children and Youth”, through which the youth magazine Cvitak marked 25 years of publication and officially closed this year’s Month of Croatian Books.

Before a large audience, writers Ivana Ćurić, Miljenka Koštro, Sonja Škobić, Zdravka Marijanović, and Snježana Martinović delighted the youngest readers of Široki Brijeg with their poetic works. The turnout was so great that extra chairs were needed – children chose to spend their free Saturday morning in the library, immersed in the world of stories and poetry.

The event was attended on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports by Anita Vlašić, Head of the Minister’s Office.
