The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports sends its sincere congratulations to the young Bosnian swimmer Iman Avdić on her outstanding success at the international swimming meet in Rijeka.
By setting a new senior record for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the discipline of 200 meters freestyle with a time of 2:01.42, Iman once again confirmed her exceptional talent, dedication and sports excellence. This result is given special weight by the fact that it surpassed the previous record of our famous swimmer Lana Pudar, by as much as half a second.
In a competition of about 650 swimmers from 10 countries, Iman won 3rd place in the senior category, thus representing Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international sports scene.
This outstanding result is a source of pride for the entire sports community of our country and a strong incentive for young athletes to continue following their dreams.
The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports wishes Iman Avdić much success in future competitions and the continuation of a great sports career.
