The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports joins the celebration of World Tennis Day, which is celebrated every year on the first Monday in March with the aim of promoting this noble sport and its values - discipline, fair play, mutual respect and a healthy lifestyle.
Tennis connects people of different generations, cultures and nations. On courts around the world, including in Bosnia and Herzegovina, tennis is played with equal enthusiasm, whether it’s professional competitions or recreational meetings between friends. It is this universality that makes tennis one of the most popular sports today.
The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports will continue to invest in sports infrastructure and support clubs and young talents, emphasizing also the importance of recreational tennis, with a special emphasis on the inclusion of children and young people, because tennis develops motor skills, concentration and team spirit.
