At the invitation of the Italian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 16 September 2025, we attended the celebration of the Days of Italian Sport in the World, which was organised at the Olympic Museum of Sarajevo, a place that preserves the legacy of the 1984 Winter Olympics.

After the welcoming speech by the Director of the Olympic Museum, Senka Ibrišimbegović, the attendees were also addressed by the Ambassador of Italy, Sarah Eti Castellani, who emphasized the importance of nurturing the values ​​of sport as a means of dialogue, inclusion and cooperation between peoples.

The central part of the programme was the projection of the video “The People Of”, which in a special way shows the connection between the communities and spaces involved in the Milan – Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the programme was attended by Alma Kurtalić, expert advisor for sports facilities.
