The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports extends sincere congratulations to Water Polo Club Invictum from Sarajevo on winning the title of Champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the younger juniors (U-17) category, to coach Enej Radan and assistant Dino Mahovkić—for their outstanding success, sporting spirit, and dignified representation of their club and the city of Sarajevo.
This past weekend, the National Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held at the Olympic Pool Otoka in Sarajevo, with six teams from across the country participating. The competition, organized on a “round-robin” basis, produced exceptionally high-quality and exciting matches, and the young water polo players of Invictum deservedly claimed the winner’s trophy.
Invictum finished the championship with 12 points, the same as the runner-up Leotar from Trebinje, but the Sarajevo team secured the title thanks to a better head-to-head record. Third place went to last year’s champion, VK Banja Luka, with 11 points.
Invictum concluded the competition with an impressive goal difference of 66:36, further confirming the quality of their play and their dominance throughout the championship.
Once again, heartfelt congratulations to the new champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina—VK Invictum! We wish you much success in your continued work, training, and future competitions.
