On December 11, 2025, within the framework of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funds, Adnan Bektić, Senior Advisor for International Cooperation at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sport, visited the Youth Council of Odžak Municipality. The visit focused on the implementation of the project “Sustainable Odžak – Education, Ecology, and Young Leaders”, which received financial support from the Ministry in the amount of 7,000 KM through the Youth Transfer program.

The project aims to empower young people in Odžak through education in sustainable agriculture, entrepreneurship, environmental protection, and mental health. It plans to create conditions for the production of natural products and provide practical workshops on planting, care, and processing of plants. Training for 30 young people in agriculture, natural product development, marketing, and project writing are key steps toward creating sustainable and innovative solutions for the future.

The Youth Council of Odžak Municipality, established in 2012, actively contributes to the development and implementation of local youth policies. Its work involves three key associations: the Association for Nature and Environmental Protection, the Association of Young Entrepreneurs and Farmers, and the Association for Culture, Sport, and Art “ART SHOCK”. Together, these organizations create space for youth engagement and their active contribution to society.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sport will continue to monitor the implementation of this and similar projects, ensuring responsible and transparent distribution of public funds, thereby enabling young people to further develop their talents and contribute to the cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
