The call for nominations for the 2026 UNESCO Prize for the Education of Girls and Women is open. The award is given for exceptional contributions to the advancement of girls’ and women’s education, and two awards in the amount of USD 50,000 will be awarded.

The deadline for submitting nominations in English or French is 12 May 2026 via the online platform: https://unesco.org/owe.

Interested institutions and organizations are invited to consider the possibility of nominating candidates from their field of activity.
