The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports received from the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina the invitation of UNESCO for applications for the global host city of the International Jazz Day 2027.

The International Jazz Day is celebrated on 30 April since 2011. Each year, UNESCO selects a global host city in partnership with the Herbie Hancock Jazz Institute.

The application is submitted by the potential host city no later than 15 November 2025, via the online platform: https://www.unesco.org/en/call-jazz-day-2027?hub=66490.
