On 26 March 2026, the Second Regular Session of the Council for Youth of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held, at which the Council’s Work Program for 2026 was adopted, which determined the key priorities of action.
The goal of the Council in the current year is to be a relevant interlocutor in the field of policies towards young people with all important social actors, and to improve cooperation with federal ministries and non-governmental organizations, with a special focus on creating policies and programs of interest to young people.
The work program also plans to produce an annual report on the state and position of young people in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this sense, the Council established a Proposed methodology for reporting on the situation of young people, which will be sent to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for adoption, with the aim of ensuring the necessary quality and appropriate level when preparing a regular annual report on the situation of young people in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
