The jubilee 20th edition of the Bosna Open 2026 karate tournament, organized by Champion Karate Club, gathered more than 1,200 competitors from 110 clubs and nine countries in the Arena Hills hall.

The tournament once again confirmed its status as one of the best in Europe, with the participation of top judges and excellent organization. The packed stands throughout the day testify to the great interest and continuous development of the sport of karate.

The president of the Organizing Committee, Denis Muhović, pointed out that the continuity of 20 years is the result of constant improvement of the quality of the organization.

As part of the tournament, prominent BiH karatekas were awarded: Nejra Sipović, Ajla Sipović, Ajla Kurtanović, Anes Bostandžić and Sinan Paljevac.

The tournament was officially opened by Refik Lendo, and the famous Turkish karateka, former multiple world and European champion, was also present.

The first team place was won by Travnik GS-TMT, the second place was won by Omladinac Podgorica, while the third place went to the Bar Karate Team, which was also the largest in the tournament.
