The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports presents the podcast “Heritage Steps” which introduces this year’s theme of European Heritage Day “HERITAGE IN DANGER – REVIVE, RESIST, REFORM” and explores how heritage can be revived, defended and reshaped through the inspiring paths, challenges and successes of new generations who are building the future of our cultural and natural heritage.

In the first episode of the podcast, which will be broadcast on Wednesday, 11 March 2026 at 11 a.m. on the YouTube channel of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, where the topic of the first event is “Life under glass – a walk through renewal” which opens a conversation about the preservation and rebirth of spaces that testify to our identity and heritage, we meet an architect whose work shapes the cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dolores Janko, an architect who will show us how creating terrariums in front of an audience becomes a powerful metaphor for preserving heritage in danger.
